ABOUT ENCORE PATH
Stroke is the leading cause of adult disability
in the United States. There are over 5 million stroke survivors
in the United States today. Over 750,000 Americans will
experience a stroke every year. Encore Path aims to improve
the quality of life for stroke survivors by developing and
selling evidence-based technologies, devices, and therapies
to make their rehabilitation faster, safer, and less expensive.
We develop, test, license, and market stroke rehabilitation
products that are proven to work.
Our first technology is an exclusive arm training
device specially designed to improve motor function in patients
with chronic stroke. The device is known as BATRAC, the
Bilateral Arm Trainer with Rhythmic Auditory Cueing. BATRAC
will be available for sale in early 2008. Please email us
to sign up for our mailing
list to learn more about upcoming products
and services.
Encore Path was founded in Baltimore, Maryland, in 2006.
